There are three methods to killing them: you can Melee with a Stab Weapon and Protect from Melee, Mage, or Ranged with a Crossbow. If you did want to try Ranging them, I'd suggest 70+ Range with Black D'hide, a Rune Crossbow, and Adamant/Broad Bolts at least, but higher would really help.
Unlike chromatic dragons, metal dragons will attack with a long-ranged dragonfire attack if the player moves away from Melee distance and stays out of melee range. For this reason, it is strongly advised to use antifire potions, and have either an anti-dragon shield or dragonfire shield equipped while fighting them.
Duraludon (Japanese: ?????? Duraludon) is a dual-type Steel/Dragon Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII. While it is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon, Duraludon has a Gigantamax form.
Yes, as part of the Karamja elite diary. Only applies to metal dragons found in Brimhaven dungeon.
It's generally not recommended to kill cave krakens as they have very poor drops that will not cover the cost of runes, and the boss is significantly easier with a more generous drop table.
Nieve is the second-to-highest level Slayer master, behind Duradel. She is located in the Tree Gnome Stronghold, next to the Stronghold Slayer Cave near the magic trees and the southern bank. She only assigns tasks to players with a combat level of at least 85.
The shield offers two special characteristics: it acts like a regular anti-dragon shield in terms of dragonfire protection, and it also protects against the icy breath of wyverns, similar to the dragonfire ward, elemental, mind and ancient wyvern shields.
So, a good block list for Nieve or Steve would include monsters like Fire Giants, Black Demons and Bloodvelds, monsters that are commonly given from Nieve, and the ones that you skip are the ones with the lower weightings.
re: how do you cancel a slayer task in runescape? If you do Smoking Kills you can pay in Slayer points to skip/block a task. It costs 30 points to skip and 100 per block with a maximum of 6 with a minimum of 50 Quest Points per block spot. Go to Tureal in Burthorpe and he'll give you an easier task.
Melee is an efficient way of killing them, especially with a Dragon hunter lance (the best stab weapon against Dragons and draconic creatures) and using Proselyte armour for Prayer or high-tier armour, such as Bandos or Barrows equipment, for Defence.
Fire giants are an instant block for me - take too long, are a very common task and have awful loot. Same sort of reasoning for using 2 more blocks on Iron and Steel Dragons. Steels are really fast and you get so few of them. Irons are Def blocked tho.
always block iron dragons for slayer. they are bad xp and gp. not worth doing even if you got a visage at least once to 99 slayer.
Get 2 herblore lvs and get a +5 boost, or use melee and prayer flick protect from melee. Or get 1 kill/invent of food with range/mage. Those are your only options.
If you're making items from the bars and get attacked by an iron dragon, you can use the anvil to block it off until you are done. A cannon can be used here, though if placed in the wrong spot, you can end up attacking a steel dragon by accident.
You shouldn't range with that level only really 90+ range. Try maging them or I suppose you could meele if you pray flick, but your defense is really low too.
Melee iron dragons will be painfully slow with your stats, and they have awful drops. if you insist on doing them, the best stab weapon (dragon sword), dfs/anti dragon shield, and prossy armor, using protect from melee, offensive prayers, and extended antifire potions.
